A favorite Kaluta painting of mine, "Old Glory", from Kaluta's "The Studio" period (1974-1979).
Where Kaluta drew the patriotic scene from raising the flag at Iwo Jima, and replaced one
of the soldiers with a robot.
Also used as the cover for Marvel's UNKNOWN WORLDS OF SCIENCE FICTION magazine, issue 2, in 1975.
An interior story based on the cover was illustrated by George Perez.
