Steve Rude is not in my top 10, but I still like his work. In the Kirby tribute topic years ago, I recommended a SUPERMAN/HULK one-shot by Roger Stern and Steve Rude that was exceptional in the many visual details and tributes it had. Nice tribute to the mid-1960's Lee/Kirby Hulk in TALES TO ASTONISH and AVENGERS, and to the 1950's Superman TV series.
Plus a LEGENDS OF THE DC UNIVERSE tribute to the Kirby JIMMY OLSEN issues, that almost reads like a lost episode.
I'd guess your favorite Steve Rude work is his NEXUS run?
