I was glad to hear this. Although he did serve about a year in jail (for which he was selectively prosecuted while others are not for similar election donations, and it was clear partisan intimidation by Eric Holder's justice department of a Republican donor, and in particular a harsh critic of our beloved feuhrer Barack Obama).

D'Souza already did the time, but his record is now cleaned.

Trump also pardoned Scooter Libby a month or so ago (what Libby was doing in jail in the first place I'm not really sure, since it was deputy secretary of state Richard Armitage who admitted he was the one who inadvertently leaked CIA operative Valerie Plame's name to reporter Robert Novack, and NOT Libby.)
Another example of a Democrat special prosecutor running amuck, in a shakedown plea bargain to get a conviction just to smear a Republican administration any way they can. As opposed to being guilty of the actual crime the special investigation is its stated purpose to investigate.

D'Souza took his selective prosecution remarkably in stride. In a previous interview, he joked about bringing his politics to prison, and converting his fellow inmates to conservative-Republican ideals.
