I always enjoyed the blending of the supernatural mixed with the horrors of war in WEIRD WAR TALES. Kaluta demonstrates his skill
at doing horror material here.
Despite his talent for it, he did very little in the way of stories, but a lot of covers. I'm grateful for the work Kaluta gave us in that vein,
across DC's mystery titles, and atmospheric BATMAN and DETECTIVE covers along similar lines.
