Another particularly good story is in the revived anthology
MYSTERY IN SPACE issue 114, Dec 1980, "Killing Time" written by Gerry Conway, with art by a new to the field Thomas Yeates. A story of a man in the future who decides to travel back in time and avert the tens of millions of deaths in World War II by killing Adolf Hitler sometime in the years before World War II began. Well scripted and illustrated, it's an interesting study of good intentions and unintended consequences, and the paradoxes of time travel and altered futures.
