Buttigeig was challenged about this in last night's debate, and the consensus is that his response was unconvincing and inadequate.
Up to this point, Buttigeig has been able to get away with not having to defend his record as maayor. We are seeing that begin to change. A higher poverty rate (25%!) than the rest of his state.
