He was elegant and gentlemanly, but at the same time a bit belligerent and ever so slightly rough around the edges. In a different way, but somewhat similar in style to Sean Connery. I thought he was perfectly selected as a hybrid cowboy/secret service agent in WILD WILD WEST.
