Here's an article from The Hill (which is a pretty dead-center publication politically, not center-left or center-right).

TRUMP, AND TRUMP OFFICIALS, DENY TRUMP WAS BRIEFED ON REPORTED BOUNTIES ON U.S. SOLDIERS BY RUSSIA

 Quote:
On Saturday, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany also denied a report from the Times on Friday that Trump and Vice President Pence were briefed on American intelligence findings that Russian military operatives offered bounties to Taliban-linked militants to kill coalition forces in Afghanistan, including U.S. troops, amid peace talks.

"While the White House does not routinely comment on alleged intelligence or internal deliberations, the CIA Director, National Security Advisor, and the Chief of Staff can all confirm that neither the President nor the Vice President were briefed on the alleged Russian bounty intelligence," McEnany said in a statement.

She said the U.S. “receives thousands of intelligence reports a day and they are subject to strict scrutiny.” McEnany added that she was not denying the intelligence exists but said the president was not briefed on it.

This is yet another down-a-rabbit-hole liberal media diversion and lying narrative.

And even if (hypothetically) Trump was advised, what would that prove? It's up to the military to take action against those attacks. If Trump (hypothetically) was advised of the bounties offered and went public about it, the media would just accuse him of giving publicity to Russian threats, and undermining our soldiers on the field there.

So no matter what is reported or confirmed, the near-100% negative anti-Trump liberal media will somehow spin it as Trump doing something wrong.
Which aids who? The Russians and the Taliban. The question is: Whose side are the media and the Democrats on. Apparently, they side with the Russians, Taliban, Chinese and Iranians, wanting to depose Trump, who is the only obstacle to their aggression.
