The comic adaptation is a completely different expansion on Robert E. Howard's original story fragment. I far prefer Ramsey Campbell's separate expanded version in text story form , rather than the newer comics adaptation version.
6. "Death's Black Riders", another incomplete story fragment by Howard, long unpublised until it appeared in
The Howard Collector Vol 2, Number 4, Spring 1968.
Finally expanded into a complete story by Ramsey Campbell in
Solomon Kane (1995) , that for the first time presented all 16 stories in completed form.
