Beyond Wolverton's above science fiction/horror stories, his best known works are his World War II-era "Starhawk" series that ran in
TARGET COMICS (issues 5-34, June 1940-Dec 1942) .
And his scattered work for
MAD (as a comic and as a magazine) issues 10, 11, 17, 29, 31, 36, 40, 82, and 137. Most reprinted in later MAD SPECIAL issues.
And his work for
PLOP (1973-1975) as a cover artist, and a few interior 1 and 2 page stories.
