Yeah I know,Byren's a bit of an ass and Nowhereman says Star Trek is for poofs, however Byrne has been doing some pretty good Star Trek stuff for IDW lately. The second issue of Star Trek:Crew was good readin' focusing on the Number One character from the original Star Trek pilot. You can tell Byrne is a fan of the original series and I think actually has a good grasp of the tone and setting that was established by Roddenberry. He has also done a couple of minis. One dealing with Romulans and one on Gary Seven(that one I didn't read but the Romulans:Hollow Crown mini was good). So at any rate if you like original Trek,go check out "Crew" it's not bad.

He's also doing an Angel comic (as in Angel from Buffy). The first issue wasn't bad at all, although I kinda wish IDW could afford him an inker. And colors.

Tommy would be proud, Pro. He'd also probably agree with you about Trek.

Odd no one has thought of a Star Trek / Battlestar Galactica crossover.

Having the Enterprise and the Galactica in a battle would be worth watching.

Even though ST is gay as a spring lamb.

Cause every character in the Galactica universe would kill every character in the Trek universe.

I actually thought the ST crew would be killing them softly with their song, killing them softly.

James T. Kirk, Cmdr. Data, and Worf, Son of Mogh. Those three would absolutely destroy the BSG guys. While Lee cried about daddy, Worf would take his fucking head off...
Posted By: Nöwheremän Re: John Byrne and Star Trek. - 2009-04-08 9:42 PM
The only way they would destroy them, is by giving all the male characters an anal pounding.
That is the Star Trek way!

Leave your base fantasies out this...
Posted By: Nöwheremän Re: John Byrne and Star Trek. - 2009-04-08 11:12 PM
No, my fantasies involve things more mannly than Star Trek, like the Power Puff Girls or Strawberry Shortcake.

So, what you're saying is that you're into pedophilia?
Posted By: Nöwheremän Re: John Byrne and Star Trek. - 2009-04-08 11:21 PM
Really, pedophilia is defined by liking cartoons?
Wow, and there was me thinking it involved liking children.

Is there something you are not telling us?
Do you want to admit that you are the new Pete Townshend?

I'm sure that Nowie's viewing of the Power Puff Girls and Strawberry Shortcake is for research purposes only.

Sorry but Data is as dangerous as a washing machine.

Kirk was only in it for the ladies, and Wulf was neutered.
