Julius Marx strikes again.

Check the relevant picture closely. There seems to be more than just the two solicited.

Great to see, but what of the Legion WOMEN?

(Always hope, right?)

Still, I AM very happy to see more Legion figures!

I guess for Legion women you have to get the Playboy action figures, then raid your niece's or neighbour's kid's Barbie doll wardrobe for costumes. Good question though - why wouldn't the girls be available, so to speak?

These look great! It sounds like it will be a while before we see female members though, from what I gathered from con reports. Can't see them selling differently from the fellas myself.

At last more Legion figures Ferro and Timberwolf will be with us in Feb 2004 I think but we have to wait till about Aug 2004 for Invisable Kid and Colossal boy. I think the reason we are getting all guys again is because they will be the same old Legion bodies again with new head sculpts. On the upside there is probably only another wave or so they can get away with those bodies for.
Elemantal Lad, Karate Kid, Matter Eating Lad and maybe Neimsis Kid (Probably forgot somebody)

According to the DCD guys I spoke with in San Diego, the basic Legion male figure can be assembled in a fairly cheap, assembly-line fashion. Evidently the girls can't right now.

Sounded like the LSH figs don't really sell that well. But they sell to a sizable enough fanbase that they'll do some more figures.

The prototypes I saw at San Diego looked pretty good. Better than the last wave, but not up to the standard of the Founders.

Of course, anything could happen between now and the release date, so who knows how they will turn out?

Hopefully more people will get hooked on them as the team grows. I've seen some posts from people that were holding out now cotemplating getting them. We really need some gals though.

I'd like to see the audience expand but I'm not sure it will. It would take more of a promotional push than DC is willing to give it.

I wish DC make more girls too!
Tinya and Lu first.
