"Whew... that was some thread... And it only took me, uh, (looks at clock) several hours to complete... I am impressed at how well the thread has kept on the original topic. Sure, there's a deviation here and there, but it always comes back to tea. Personally, I do like a bit of tea now and then, but only between October and March (a piping hot cup of tea doesn't sound too refreshing when it's 102 degrees), though I can hardly be called a connoisseur. (Not YET anyway. We'll see if that changes due to the brainwashing just encountered)
Has anyone ever encountered green tea ice cream? I was lucky enough to have a friend of mine make some recently. Wow! Nearly as good as saffron ice cream.
And what about the term ""teabagging?""

I've never seen gree tea ice cream, but I do want to try chilli ice cream. A place in Brighton sells it, so I only have to remember who told me and where this place is and then I can go and buy some, and xperience the lovely cool taste... then the burning fire of the chilli. Mmmmmmmm.

And while we're on the subject of ice cream, I recently tried a flavor called Moose Tracks at a shop in Lenox, MA. They take hot fudge, pour it onto ice cream, mix it all up, and then re-freeze it. It was killer... :) "

Well, to go back to the tea topic ... when I was a kid, I used to make cinnamon tea and then put it in the freezer, so I would get cinammon tea ice cream ... well ... cinammon tea ice actually.
Am I the only one who did that? Or at least the only one who thought frozen things tasted better?"

This is a bit offtopic, but has anyone around here ever tried (or for that matter, seen) Guiness export? I occasionally see adverts for, or references to the stuff, but have yet to see any trace of it in an offie, supermarket or other establishment where one can buy booze. I'm beginning to suspect that the stuff is some sort of deliberate hoax..."

D McD, are you referring to Guiness exported to the U.S.? I've tried some in Oregon before. I've also tried Fosters before but got leary when I heard it rumored that they had to put formaldehyde (sp?) in it because it was shipped over seas.
Porlob never mind the term 'teabagging' we've completed 34 pages of this thread with out getting into that dirty crude little phrase/hobby and should probably keep it that way :)

They have it here. It has a capsule in the can to make it froth. Quite clever. quote:

Yep I'm thinking of the same kind. While in OR. last summer a friend explained that if you took a deep swig/inhale of the can right when you open it that you get a buzz cause the capsule uses nitrous oxide. Kind of like a whip it and a beer in one can. quote: Originally posted by TyphoidDave:

I've also heard that one. Of course the fact that it taste better than Budweiser which I consider one of the ****tiest beers ever is just sad and wrong. When their sh*t beer is kicking ass on stuff that seems to be popular over here somethin aint right. quote: Originally posted by TyphoidDave:

And I'm the silly bokkicks that mentioned that fact that no one had mentioned it. So y'alls can blame me for it. "

Of course, this is the same man who drinks something that tastes like mouthwash, voldka, and gummi bears.
A different buddy of mine once spent at least half-an-hour ripping apart a Guinness can so he could get the couple of millilitres of beer in the Widget (the little floating thing that makes it pour right). I don't think it was worth it for him, but it was funny for the rest of us.
P.S.: Typhoid - I don't really like diminuitives. So please don't call me Vaggy. I am, however, a member of the Dave Collective (""Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated"") if you would rather use that.

I was thinking that the Dave Collective was supposed to be a secret. How the heck are we supposed to conquer if everybody knows we're organizing?
And I am a member of the redheaded branch, analagous to the secret police of the D.C.
