It will have implications not only in Amazing, but it's also going to spill over into Spectacular very close to the end of the year. This is is probably a six-to-10-month arc that encompasses both books."
Quesada said he anticipates volatile reaction to the story.
"Be prepared to be angered, then overjoyed, angered again and then overjoyed."

I don't think so.
Now, I have been liking JMS for awile now. Babylon 5, Midnight Nation, Rising Stars and so on.
JMS often steals or rather adopts somebody's idea and take that idea and find a creative way to make it his own. Like in Babylon 5 when he used George Orwell's 1984 for the background of what was going on on earth during the series.
So I would not put it past him to steal/borrow/adopt from Jeph Loeb and turn it in to something of his own.
Or it could be that he only had a few good Issues of Spidey in him and that was it.
I'm also starting to wonder if Supreme Power is actully going anywhere.

If anyone honestly thinks that's Gwen Stacy, I have some priceless Rob Liefeld comics to sell to you for large amounts of money. Comics are the ultimate financial investment, they say.
This isn't exactly the first time someone has done a misleading shock cover for a comic book, is it? Because I certainly remember quite a few in my years. I may just have imagined my nice stack of 70s/80s Superman comics with Superman being punched in the face by a child, being shot, and having nukes dropped on him.
