to make matter's worse, on his last WCW appearance, he wont the hardcore belt!
anyway, why this guy (meng, haku, whatever) is sucha popular character, i have no idea. regardless, apparently he was working for wcw on a per/night basis, working his way towards a contract. wwf picked him up as an addition to rakishi's team (more or less, to compliment rakishi's island/native look -- stereotypes live on!).
