that's all well and good, but it's my personal belief that Darkmind and Seraph are both eating out Martins asshole, since they were immeditely made Citizens upon arrival, while people like me who registered there almost as soon as the place reopened were made Scavengers for no other reason than Martins a dickhead.

that's all well and good, but it's my personal belief that Darkmind and Seraph are both eating out Martins asshole, since they were immeditely made Citizens upon arrival, while people like me who registered there almost as soon as the place reopened were made Scavengers for no other reason than Martins a dickhead.
Couple of points there:
1. most importantly, do you really care? I like Martin, but if he's not going to give you what you think to be a fair chance, then its not like there's no other message boards screaming for traffic on the internet. The best two message boards on the internet are snopes and Straight Dope. Now if you were denied posting privileges at either of those, I'd understand the complaint. But we're talking about a board with 5 people regularly posting, and pretty (to be complimentary) bland content.
2. I understand Martin knows Seraph and Darkmind from back in the old days. I don't remember if you were around from Athanon or not. But again, if even you were, see point one.
3. doesn't scavenger status give you the right to post on the more interesting 2 of the 4 boards, all of which have the same type of content anyway? But even if you consider the riveting conversation about an imaginary dart board on either the third and fourth boards something you felt keen on participating in, see point one.
I recently found the place. Still not sure if I'll post there or not (I see most of those people elsewhere), and frankly, its not like I'm losing any sleep over the decision, y'know?

I really don't care. It was just something to goof around about and give them grief over. Then they said for me to go out and bring them some people, so I did that. It's just a message board, and I could honestly give a shit whether it becomes fruitful and populated with 1,000+ alt ids, or dwindles and dies.
but its the principle of the matter: Scavenger and Citizen. It's a really stupid idea to try and get people interested in a message board when you segregate people into two groups like that. I think the "scavenger" and "citizen" thing is Martin's effort to deal with trolling by introducing a weird sort of filter. And lets face it, by reopening the place he's certainly asking for attention from the NBs. If there were any of course.
I wouldn't take it personally, SD, but it seems that at the end of the day you don't give a rat's arse anyway, which is how it should be.
