Most of us are sick of the same old faces fighting for & holding the two big titles on WWE (two big titles still doesnt sit right with me),so I got to thinking,if you took the usual suspects out of the equation (Rock,Hogan,HHH,HBK,Nash & Goldberg etc),who do you think should be fighting for the titles and actually winning them?
My personal choices are:
Y2J
RVD
Booker T
Benoit
Edge (when he returns)
Kane (you need a big guy)
John Cena
plus as a wild card non-WWE wrestler,Sting

I`m not convinced on Eddie as a contender for the big one(s) but I do think he should always be in line for the tag & US straps as he is fantastic to watch.
It would be cool tho to have him cheat his way to the top.
I just wish they`d change the cruiser title to light heavyweight so guys like Eddie could still compete with guys like Rey & Kidman for the title.

Actually it's because Ultimo's a little bigger than the average cruiserweight (he's around the same size as Jerry Lynn and about the same weight as Matt Hardy, plus he's been US Champion before in WCW) He also could have a pretty good rivalry with Eddie Guerrero.

Actually, my intentions would be to use the US Title to bridge the gap, so to speak, between the heavyweights and the cruiserweights by having some of the top cruiserweights vie for the US Title every now and then, and having the usual top contenders for the US Title (including the champion) vie for the WWE Title every now and then as well. And don't worry I'd also have the odd feud between guys that aren't in the same weight class (ie, Big Show vs. Rey Mysterio)

As I have said before with the likes of Cena & Batista,its amazing how an opinion can change in such a short time!
Eddie just did not seem like world championship material back then (to me),but once he hit his groove,boy was he great!
In my defence though,I did say it would be cool for him to cheat his way to the top,so I must have had some faith in him!
Sometimes you watch a wrestler & think they are great,but you just know they aint world championship material (Shelton Benjamin comes to mind) but even they can surprise you.
Who thought Shawn Michaels would be a heavyweight champ during his Rocker years?

Hindsight is 20/20. I didn't think that he was championship material at the time either (mainly because he never was a main eventer anywhere else) Besides, who at the time thought that Vince would give him a real push? I know I didn't.
Anyway, what about the title picture now? Who do you think should hold all the titles now, Nowie?

I think, at this point, that there's no need for brand extension anymore. There aren't enough guys or gals on the roster to justify it. Unify the redundant titles and go from there. Past that, I haven't watched enough to know or care that much.

Who should hold the titles now?
To be honest,there aint a lot of choices (which is why the womens title & the undisputed championship should be cross brand titles if they are sticking with the brand extension),but for what its worth:
RAW
WWE title:
Angle
Cena (as a heel)
HBK
RVD
HHH
Big Show
Edge
Y2J (get him back)
Kane
With the exception of RVD,all have been champ,and like em or hate em,they all have a place challenging for the title.
Possibilities:
Shelton Benjamin (a long way off in the future if he develops better mic skills)
Carlito (getting there)
Chavo (as a face)
Only other person on the RAW roster worthy of it is Flair,but he is too old........maybe a short run though!

i wanna see kane holkd the title for more than 24 hours. i am tired of seeing him used solely to job to smaller wrestlers to make them look tough, cause i mean they did beat the big bad kane. pfffft. or as an addition to a title match, makin it a 3 way or more just to prove how "tough" a match it is.
