Umm, I've never said that to someone . . . and I don't think I would say it anyway.


But as for the other stuff you described . . . that's kinda how Pat and I started off . . . then eventually I said, "If you ever want to meet for a drink some time, just let me know."

Then, a week later, we went out for a drink then voila, our first date was a week after that. And now, it's almost been a year (will be on New Year's Eve).

But, that's just my experience.
