That one is wrong on several different levels.


I don't think I've ever seen a book cover that I liked. Just give me the name of the book and the author and I'm happy. Anything else detracts from the actual book. I'm all for keeping it simple.

That depends upon the book and who did the covers. I find a lot of sci-fi book covers help me mentally prepare for the story I'm about to read (especially if it's an older book and the cover depicts the way certain topics or concepts were thought about in the days of the original printing).
