I just read Ultimate Spider-man 102.
As some of you know they've been doing the clone saga in the ultimate universe. And you also know that's somewhat different than the original saga.
So the revelation regarding Spider-woman in the ultimate universe is god-damned friggin WEIRD.....either that, or it's fucking brilliant.

Ben Reilly, the clone, has been replaced in this story by Jessica Drew, basically. She is the fifth and final clone created from Peter Parker's DNA by S.H.I.E.L.D.'s rival agency within the U.S. Government as THEIR attempt to create a new Captain America.

I've been following it at the shop, since I'm cheap though, I don't really...buy...the title. I thumb through it. But yeah, very weird. I like that Reilly is someone else and I like the twist with the fem-clone. There's even a Kaine like fucked up clone. But the hairy clone is odd. I'm still liking the storyline and the FF's involvement. Oh, then there's the Otto twist.

Based on the costume, I was betting on the clone being Julia Carpenter, aka Arachne. It looks like they mixed Julia's story with Jessica's and Ben's. So many Spider characters consolidated into one is a good thing, in my opinion.

Actually, as I recall, cloning involves the insertion of existing genetic material into an unfertilized egg.
So, technically, the DNA donor could be considered the daddy.
In which case, Peter's the father and the clone's his daughter.
