I finally got a cube, and I have to say the graphics are pretty amazing. Much more detailed than Xbox. The controls for cube are much more simple (although the Xbox runs smoother....possibly because of the hard drive it holds).

I got the cube with the free Zelda games and totally dug the TIME game again....Windwaker was cool...although I felt like it was something out of some missing Pokemon episode. Very nice change of pace, as long as the next few don't follow this style, imo.

The only complaint I have about the games I have played so far....I had to have a walkthrough for. I guess this is an effect of the cd era of games - so much to do. I bought Resident Evil, although an older game, I had enver played before....I can't see getting through this one without a walkthrough. Some of the puzzles make no sense. I'm sure I could have figured some things out on my own if i had months to kill. I did enjoy the horror/science aspect of it, tho..very kewl.

Ok, so now I got a cube, someone recommend me some good horror/action games following Zelda and Resident Evil?

Conversly. I've got Eternal Darkness but no Game Cube.

My mom let me play it on hers whenever I'd go over and visit. But now my parents moved far away so It's just me and my game. I need to buy a cube one day. Hopefully I'll save up the money soon enough. Though does anybody know if Nintendo is still doing there big "Buy an Game Cube, get a free Metroid push"?

Kick ass. Though I think I will go with Metroid from those choices. Zelda didnt impress me what little I played it. Star Fox Adv. just isnt really Star Fox to me. Star Fox shouldnt be a platformer...you should be whirling in a fighter and shooting the fuck outa shit and Mario...well Mario's okay...but Metroid Prime looks much much better.

Thanks for the info Rob.

I have around 20 games for my GC. I was wondering what games are more detailed than X-Box games or the PS 2 for that matter? I know one of the best looking games would be Metroid Prime. This is a great FPS. I like Halo better when it comes to graphics for a FPS game (that's my call, you may disagree. it's all in ones taste). I hope Brute Force plays well, the graphics are amazing! I'll find out this Friday. I love the RE games thus far, 0 being the best (you have to try that one). The controls rock on RE 0. After you play it a while you will hate RE 1's controls. ED is a good game as well. Get it for around $20.
As far as graphics go when you have a game that crosses over to all 3 machines I'd say for the most part they are exactly the same. The only really good example would be Splinter Cell showing better graphics on the X-Box out the 3. As far as the Bond games go get them on the GC. The controls work fantastic with the GC controller.
I really don't think you could go wrong with any of the 3 systems. Thus far the PS 2 covers all the bases better than any other system. At the same time Nintendo has all the stuff you grew up with looking better than ever. The X-Box is fantastic for live play and it along with Nintendo have some great exclusive games. Bottom line is, if you have fun then you did something right. Enjoy!!!
