US military draws portrait of Iraq suicide bombers

Interesting reading, but not all that surprising. I've always figured these guys aren't too different from gang members or those twisted psychos who shoot up schools and shopping malls - wounded attention whores out to make a rep for themselves and/or make others suffer for their own pain. If religious fundies weren't exploiting them for their own abombinable ends, I wonder if they'd be turning to crime or violent murder-suicide shootings regardless.

i question your pun. do modern bombs really tick? and would suicide bombers ever use clocks on their bombs when they can just push a button when they want to set it off?

"Tick" wasn't the pun. "Abombinable" was.

I shouldn't have had to SPOON!-feed you that one.

I JUST made the list? I figured I'd have made it on there a long time ago.

Still, considering how bad the last one was, I think it's justified.

My first guess would be the bomb strapped to their chest.

A. Spoon?
B. As a pun-based poster everything you type is suspect, and is presumed pun until proven not a pun.

...don't tell me you've never seen "The Tick" (the animated series, not the crappy live-action one).

(Must resist urge to resort to "ticked off" pun)
