I'm new here and am a keen amateur etymologist and lexicographer. I've been reading, with much amusement, the "war of words" you're currently enagaged in with Halo82.
I'm especially impressed with the new word here: Halotard.
I'm working on a definition and, thus far, have this:-
Halotard: person who exhibits specific retarded qualities such as; little or no understanding of both the basic and finer points of English grammar, seeking attention through conflict, having opinions on everything whilst claiming "apathy".
Synonyms: l'il puppy, whiny bitch, whipping boy, failo
I'm hoping you guys can help me out with stuff like; is halotard a verb, adjective, noun or all three?
Is it under copyright or trademark?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully we can get a Wikipedia entry and then petition the OED for inclusion.
