My first idea is for the character RAGMAN. The character could secretly retire, and (unknown to the world) be replaced by a woman who takes over being Ragman, with her gender hidden by her costume.
Except for 5 days a month, when she becomes.... on-the-Ragman.

That's when you really don't want to fight her.

Or you could have Karate Kid become a white supremacist, and join the Ku Klux Klan.

Klan Karate Kid. Or KKK !!

And how about a new version of the TEEN TITANS, with an all-female team.

Shortening the title to TEEN TITS.



With perhaps a little honesty, and maybe greater emphasis, in what's on display in its stories.
Basically what Japanese manga comics have been up front about doing for 40 years.
