Loved seeing Barack Obama get all Jesse Jackson-ized, and put on the fake black / ebonics / southern Baptist minister voice.
Or Kamala Harris telling the audience "I told you so" about... what? ... I can't recall, because she couldn't even predict her own catastrophic loss in the Nov 2024 election.
I find it hard to get worked up about the death of Jesse "I used to spit in white people's food" Jackson (as he was quoted in an early 1970's LIFE magazine interview).
Or his pretending to be closer to Martin Luther King Jr than he actually was. After MLK was shot, Jesse Jackson showed up after the fact in a bloody shirt, in a bit of staged drama, to build his own brand and fame after MLK's death.
And Jackson was a well known race hustler, exploiting hostility, controversy and division, and engaging in racial extortion from banks and other businesses, threatening to picket outside businesses and call them racist every day for weeks and months, if they didn't donate to his organization.
"Ohh, oohhh, he was a great man, he led a great life..." the news anchors euphemistically tell us.
No, not really. He brokered in decades of exploitation, hate and division. For profit.
Another great clip is of Jesse Jackson is from at the 1988 Democrat National Convention, where Michael Dukakis reached out to Jackson in his nomination acceptance speech, and Jackson just sat there and brooded angrily in response, when the network cameras zoomed in on Jackson for his reaction.
And Jesse Jackson's comments overheard on a hot microphone in 2009, whispered about Barack Obama, that he'd like to "cut his balls off" for some slight by Barack Obama, that really amounted to Jackson just being jealous of Obama, because Obama as presiden achieved far more as a black leader in the U.S. than Jackson.. Obama getitng elected president ended Jackson's aspirations in that direction.
So yeah, letting all these Democrats talk at Jackson's funeral, just further revealed each of them to be the laughable frauds they are, that these Democrats have always been.
Each pushing their own agenda at the funeral, with very little actually said to honor Jesse Jackson. Not that he deserved better, he didn't.
It just further proves my theory, that Democrats are actually pod-people from outer space.
They're not human !!
But it's funny as hell, to watch them pretend to be human, to watch them try to act natural, and attempt to look folksy and normal.
Elizabeth Warren, for example, at home on the couch with her hubby, as she oh-so- spontaneously tells the camera filming her that she's going to the fridge to get a beer.
Chuck Schumer pretending he habitually grills hamburgers on a backyard grill, putting a cheese slice on a raw burger, OBVIOUSLY not having ever grilled before.
Kamala Harris faking a phone call from Joe Biden, to fake-spontaneously be on camera when he gave her the announcement she was he VP choice, when it is in fact an emberassingly staged fake after-the-moment bit of cheap theatre.
They're pod people, hilariously unnatural when they pretend to be normal and human.
And they were each too busy trying to exploit Jackson's funeral for their own agenda and their own talking points, to even PRETEND to honor Jesse Jackson for 5 minutes.
Not that he deserved it anyway.
