ill hope to get a review of'em up soon, perhaps this weekend (i know, bsams, i know...).

anyway, just to put in a quick two cents... that rucka guy? good! whole buncha "very"s, just toss'em on in.

Detective is sweet. I'm enjoying it more than any other bat stuff I've read in years.

rucka is justa freakin great writer. great one shots, great continuing sagas... i love how theres several constantly background running stories (which is how comics should be). gordon's retiring, the relationship with sasha... its so much better than a 2 part riddler story, then a 3 part black mask story (with no riddler epilogue, or reference... as if it were in a different comic!)

rucka is so consistantly good, tho... i truly hope dc notices and respects this, gets him some sorta long time, exclusive contract. maybe even elevate him to batgroup editor!

how did you know about Sasha?!

Detective has the Batman without the psycological problems! It's been a great read with Rucka at the helm and the coloring experiment has proved to be completely successful!

rucka's too damn good. i say the same thing time n'time again. everything he does has been enjoyable (even the "gordon" element that i originally questioned... so far its been great, and, i have a feeling it'll lead up to something huge in a few years).

dc should definitely give him full control to do whatever he wants in batland. same thing with loeb in supes'. they're the best things thats happened to those characters since the animated series.
