Anyhoo, I would think that both sides were patriotic. Because isn't that what America is supposed to be about? Celebrating your differences no matter what they may be?

The great smelting pot? Cultural, religious and political differences alike?

I think that it would be easier to point "un-patriotic" behavior here in Denmark for instance. We're not a multicultural nation (although that could be rather cool) So there's various political and cultural behavior that just doesn't fit in. It's perfectly legal alright, just not in the "spirit" of our nation.
