The publishers have finally suceeded in driving me away from all superhero comics with their interminable crossovers and out of character plot points.
Yup, its been the only comic I've bought every month since Planetary decided to start coming out following Warren Ellis' menstral cycle.
Its kind of a no-brainer, isn't it? Quality work without the Days of Our Lives continuity sagas, tapping into the best aspects of the fantasy concepts in superheroics, bring you committed readers. Worked for The Ultimates, worked for Planetary, and it worked for ASS. You'd think there'd be more books like this out there. But noooo, the day time soap regime is still in full force, and apparently knowing whether Gambit is the missing half brother of Scott Summers is more important than quality.
