Ahh, memories.
First time I saw the Firestarter video was late one night while procrastinating. I was in seventh grade and we were supposed to be packing last minute for the move the next day. My parents had stopped working an hour before to yell at each other and my sister and I got pissed at doing everything ourselves. So we turned on the TV and on PBS there was a music video program (we never had cable). We kept the volume sorta low and hunched down on the sofa to avoid detection, and it worked for ten whole minutes. I thought the video was pretty damn cool at the time. And the others were fairly unremarkable. Then Mom noticed we stopped doing stuff and yelled at us to keep working so we said, "OK! Fine! ...Jeeze.... We just took a break, ok?!" and kept watching. Since my mom had come over closer, the argument followed and made it hard to enjoy the TV so my sister and I went upstairs and talked for a bit and went to bed. A week later we tried to turn the music video show back on, but it had been preempted for some stupid country music tour program. Then it got canceled. Then school started and it didn't matter anymore 'cause we weren't allowed to stay up past 10:30.
