This game will be horrible. It reeks of fanboy fanfic and will match it in quality. They're breaking the rules for both universes and will end up making both crappy and subpar. as far as being a "fighting game" (characters and histories aside) it looks pretty cool. 2D fighting in a 3D(ish) environment. an up close mode, an in-air mode, unique abilities across the board, etc. seems very well done, and i tend to never really like MK games. as far as the charactersgo, they seem to have found a great way to work around the "sonya versus superman" ridiculousness by introducing a full story. instead of the arcadey-appeal of marvel / capcom, this game has written up full dialog and cut scenes and plot lines to "logically" have the characters battle one another. not that its the greatest story, or free of plot holes, but from what i've seen and read they've done a really good job to keep everything balanced
