This stuff has been acclaimed for years, and is back in print.

So if it's acclaimed and it's in print, it must be good.

That's funny, because Preacher has never gone out of print since it started coming out. It's up to the 6th or 7th edition.

There's virtually no comic written by Grant Morrison that isn't collected into a trade. Usually his name is written in big letters, and you know why? Because a lot of casual readers who think names like "Animalman" or "Doom Patrol" or even "X-Men" and "JLA" are silly are compelled to buy those comics only because of the words "Grant Morrison". Usually you see people complaining about that, not trying to deny it.

who have to obsessively prove that PREACHER or whatever excrement they like from Garth Ennis and Grant Morrison or whoever (that is recognized as doody by anyone outside of comics)

Is that why Preacher is being adapted into a movie? And Morrison's We3?

I love how you phrase that. As if it was unquestionable that everything in the past is automatically better than anything that came after.

That dodgy logic was just an excuse to enquire about penis size, wasn't it?
