season started up again this past week.

starting off, clark went to work, told lois his secret, and then went public to the world. i guess it was sortuva "watchmen / real world / government / paparazzi" relation. ...thing? everyone started to hate him and the government wanted to control him, etc. it played out like an elseworlds story, mostly -- one where you kept waiting for the scene where he woke up from a dream and then winked at the camera and then flew around the earth. ... or something.
but then, it turned out he had a time-travel ring from his time-travel legion pals that he used to undo everything, so that no one knew his secret. and then he destroyed the ring cuz with great time power comes great time responsibility. cheapout, but no different than the expected dream sequence.
there was more doomsday-related stuff, too, which was fun.
also seemed to start pushing the secret identity issue, with a clark/superman dichotomy. ...oh, and for at least a few moments, it looked like clark murdered someone, which was of course way outta character (but it as tori spelling who "died", so i didn't mind)
