Daniel is Widmore and Eloise's kid. Eloise kills him before she realizes who he is. He's killed when he goes to the others camp.
Jacob shows up during Sawyer's parents funeral, Sun and Jin's wedding and when Locke becomes a cripple. The season finale is looking like its gonna be one giant flash back that ties a bunch of shit up.
