Some people, naturally, do in fact have it coming, such as the Insurgents. Others, however, just have the misfortune to not be "cool". Beardguy is an excellent example. Can anyone tell me what he did to merit some of the abuse he received other than making posts about subjects he enjoyed in a posting environment he thought was friendly?
I've come to accept that it's my "turn" as it were; I'm just curious as to what makes my failings so much more amusing than, say, rex's.

As always, I can only speak for myself since I don't really know or decide what the other posters think. But I started ribbing on Snarf when it looked like he was going after rex in the women's forum even though the banter was between rex and wondy's alt.
I felt like he was trying to divert a lot of the heat he has been recently getting by ripping on the guy who he thought was lower than him on the board's "cool" ranking or whatever popularity measuring scale he thought there was on the board. What makes it even lamer is that it was Wondy/Holden who's been fighting rex, he just jumped in and joined.
Add the fact that he started a thread bitching about how everybody still ribbed him even though he was trying to shit on rex. People still like to make fun of rex, Snarf. But the current situation puts you in the position where you're more likely to be made fun of.
Here's the key difference between you and rex: rex is a callous prick. You're a whiny bitch (for example, both of you have never had sex with a woman, but reax has not made any thread whining about the fact).
If there ever was a measuring scale for coolness in the RKMBs, I would assume that rex is higher because he at least has a backbone.
