Stop admitting the illegal immigrants (13 million plus) that, time and again, do not pay.

And if that doesn't work to cut down costs (even though I know it will), close down the ER to people who won't pay.

None of the "invincibles" (20 million plus) that I know--me included--have ever refrained from paying for ER services.

People not paying for ER is a problem, I'll admit it. But forcing other people into government programs simply because they don't want to be attached to premiums is not a viable solution. You're forcing a program on people. You're forcing obligation. As in, it's not an option. As in, the government is controlling you. As in, there's not as much "choice" in this arrangement as Obama previously alluded to.

You cut down the amount of government involvement (make the ER more exclusive), not fuck with the personal lives of the citizens (forcing people to get insurance).
