Y'see, that's why I'm so confused. Did she really represent Palin or the current administration, which is being dragged over a cheese grater by Glenn Beck and other such commentators.
The interview at the end was based, in part, on the Katie Couric and Charles Gibson interviews with Palin. And the whole "I resign to write a book [with Rogue in the title no less]" twist was an unmistakable reference to Palin.
And I don't know why, but for some reason, the relatively recent 'Cartman and Wendy are mortal enemies' plot device reminds me of the time Wendy developed a crush on him. Could this just be a form of 4th grader sexual tension that preludes a future coupling once more?
I don't know if Matt or Trey think things out that far. Haven't they also hinted Cartman might be gay more than once? (See, eg, the whole "suck my balls" plotline in "Imaginationland.")
