She opens the book to read it and the last page ends with "She opens the book and reads it." Then she uses white out to alter her own timeline, again and again.
DC won't get too far using an old Steven Speilberg story to give themselves more publicity. After all, when was the last time you heard anyone talk about "Stone Cold" Shark Boy?
