Actually,sales have been reflecting my opinions.The current crop of Batman and Bat-related titles have been a constant sell-out and required re-ordering and adjusted numbers for my store.and DC keeps doing second anf third printings for "Batman & Robin" and those sell out just as fast.People like what's going on and there's nothing wrong with that.
The sales on Morrison's writing reflect Morrison's star power. His zombies will buy anything he churns out.
The Bat-book sales on average however, are down. Tec and Batman continue to spiral since Morrison left them. Meaning that--just maybe--people don't appreciate Batman's absence as much as you suggest.
