I do this all the time anyone else have much luck with it? I don't have a competing cable company so I use Dish Network and DirectTV for leverage.
i do it with ATT all the time. been with them for long enough with a high enuff bill, gettin pissed off is usually enuff to get money knocked off the bill. last time on my dish and internet (u-verse) i flat out told them my gf was in-between jobs, they either lower somthing or i drop'm. i got less for my internet and same for dish, but i got 6 months of movie channels free.
