Yeah, there were some good concepts and the lead actor was a talented guy.
But the story had a few serious structural weaknesses (and petered out at the end) and some of the supporting performances verged on anti-semitism/self-loathing judaism.
In addition, how many more movies do we need about 50s-60s suburbia hiding a dark underbelly?
