i very much liked the ending. i thought it was extremely well done. great story, great way to end things; neatly, i might add.
what it was not was an answer to so many of the left over questions. i think i got what i needed out of it; focusing on the characters, which was always more important than the mysteries at the core of the show. i certainly wanted to get s'more friggin info out of the show. like, what were walt's super powers, were did jacob's mom come from, how come smokey never got a name, who built that giant statue, clarification on the numbers, etc, etc... but, in the end (literally and figuratively) it didn't much matter.
the story was good, the characters had conflicts and resolutions... that's all that was needed.
