Animal House, Caddyshack, and Lebowski can't be watched on TV for me. The crudeness and cursing are a big part of them that just can't be taken away. Smokey and the Bandit is the same way.
Smokey and the Bandit, yes. Especially given that whomever they got to overdub Buford's curse words sounded more like Fred Flintstone.
It doesn't bother me in AH or CS, probably because the first time I saw those films was on network TV.
