question, In ten years, Will COIE have ever mattered?
To fans,yes.Everything in the DCU is still referred to in "pre-crisis/post-crisis" terms.DC has tried this whole "New Earth" thing after IC and the events of "52" but most of the fans haven't really started saying "Post-52" or anything like that.COIE will always be the defining point in the DCU unless DC does an actual "wipe" of the current universe and total reboot.....which wouldn't shock me if they did at some point in the future.
