I just bought a netbook, and am quite amazed at the possibilities it provides. Now I don't have to stay indoors just to browse porn, I can do it outside! in public!
...but outside sucks, lots of people and sun. I mostly just use it indoors for work, because it will save a lot on electricity compared to my desktop. But I'm troubled about the batteries, which one will degrade my batteries faster: using the AC power as much as possible or running on batteries until it drains and then going back to AC/rinse and repeat?
Also, fuck intel's integrated graphics solution. The 1.66 ghz atom processor on my notebook is awesome, and could be comparable to a 1ghz p4, but I can't play 3d games after quake 3 despite having 200mhz clock and 256mb vidram because the graphics chipset doesn't have hardware T&L.
