So do we hate the idea because it reeks of being too "hippie" and controlling? Or do we love the idea because it fucks over oil producing countries, such as Venezuela and the Middle Eastern countries that Rex and G-Man rage-wank to? Personally, while I enjoy driving and wouldn't want to live in a society where cars are "banned" (yes, I know this is taking place in Europe and, yes, I know that this supposed ban will never pass), I think any move away from foreign oil dependency is a potentially good thing.
