i just read through the blackest night series (just the main books, not the tie-ins) and really liked it. not sure if it helped at all that i am not a green lantern fan at all, but i thought it was a fun read. i was looking forward to reading through brightest day.
To be honest I gave up after the first few issues, not because it was bad, I just thought it was kinda boring. I've, uh, "picked up" some of the other issues and I always end up skimming through them.
If you like Blackest Night it's probably worth giving it a shot, though.
