I didn't say they weren't responsible for keeping info safe. I'm saying that there's nothing to suggest their security was sub-par. Granted I don't know how beefed up their security is, but neither does anyone else making the claim that this is entirely their fault.

No system is unhackable. I mean, you think this couldn't happen to XBL? In which case, if it could, wouldn't that mean they're being negligent simply by the mere act of consolidating consumer information on their network?

If this happened to Microsoft, lord knows I'd be rubbing it in the X-bots' faces over at Gamespot just because they have penchant for spinning any scenario in the negative for rival companies. But in all seriousness, I wouldn't necessarily be holding Microsoft responsible. It's impractical to blame them for being hacked simply because they were hacked.
