I was thinking it was a bad book while reading it. The last page made me outright hate it. You don't need to change two-face. There is no reason for this change.

What really pisses me off more than anything is that they thought the reveal wasn't bad enough and had to add the shitty dialogue to go with it. Batty Boy? One-Face? Really?

I knew the New DCU would have a lot of things that I would strongly dislike but, I didn't expect something I would just outright hate this badly.

I just don't get it. They're bending over backwards to make GL into the (failed) Ryan Reynolds movie character and making WW look more like the (failed) David E. Kelley TV pilot. And I can almost guarantee the Perez Superman was designed with the Snyder movie in mind.

But Batman? Instead of giving us the hugely successful Nolan version, we're getting crap like this?

As I mentioned before during the whole reveal of "Batman, Inc.": When there's a version of your character that becomes of the one the biggest, most well respected movies in history, seen by more people in a weekend than read your comic book all month, maybe you should take the hint that the movie version is what the public wants and, if you're worried about attracting new readers, MAKE THE COMIC BOOK MORE LIKE THAT!

i've liked most of the new DC books i've read so far, particularly all those with batman, of course. though this one... not so much. at a few different points, actually, but yeah the last page was the kicker.

what i disliked most was not so much the silly dialog, but the fact that he's still clearly two-faced. his request for a name change is inaccurate, and would be rejected by social networks.

I loved how Bats announced his presence just so Two-Face could know when to make his big reveal.

Death-Face would be cooler.

Did Loeb write this?

yeah, that was my least favorite part, up until the "one face" bit.

I don't think Harvey Dent should be calling The Batman by a homosexual slur when he's obviously a closet two-face.

The art was nice. The story itself was a fast easy read without much content. I don't care if they change Two Face. Calling himself "One Face" is kind of stupid. When did he get all pumped up? Did someone inject him with Bane venom or whatever they call that pump you up juice?
