Its not like we don't have racism here. Christ, sometimes I think Australia is a bastion of racist nutjobs, particularly the national obsession with immigrants from Central Asia who arrive without visas by boat. You'd think there was a naval invasion of turban wearing terrorists underway.

You can blame the ACLU and NAACP for interracial stigmas. It's predominantly the minorities that yell at people for dating outside their skin color.
People love to say that there's some kind of KKK or Neo-nazi resurgence. But the reality is that they're fringe compared to pissy minorities who hate to see people down with the swirl. For every black guy you see nodding his head in approval of a black guy dating a white woman, you see ten black women screaming that their men are being stolen and vice versa.
I've said it before, but I'll say it again: I've been to the south, and it's nowhere near as racist as California--northern California especially.
