Arnold Scharzenegger was willing to go the distance, and unfortunately came up short as an actual governor. Too bad, ifhe'd done a better job, it would have been fun to have a Terminator for president.

I was aware of that as I wrote the words, just making conversation. Schwarzenegger was born in Austria, and therefore does not meet the requirement to be president, of being born a U.S. citizen. Back when Scharzenegger was first elected and still popular, there was some talk of possibly amending that U.S.-born requirement. But it's clear at theis time that Schwarzenegger could not be elected governor or dog catcher, let alone president, with his record.
